Communication Advice
I specialize in campaign strategy, fundraising, and coaching for first-time Democratic candidates, especially in Red-to-Blue districts.
I've worked in Wyoming (Cheney country), Colorado (Boebert country), and Southern California (Darrell Issa country). These campaigns are tough, so we need to be even tougher.
At the early stages of your campaign, you need someone you can trust, who will think along with you and help you scale up. I love being that person.
Persuasion Training
Persuasion is important in every aspect of our lives: with voters and donors, but also with your boss or employees, with your spouse and kids.
In addition to my work as a campaign manager and consultant, I teach persuasive communication at Johns Hopkins University, and have taught argumentation at the University of Maryland and debate at the Netherlands Debate Institute.
Copywriting and Editing
Good copy should be succinct, persuasive, and beautiful. One of my greatest pleasures is to take your writing and help you make it better.
